Each year, around 50 million pounds of plastic toothbrushes end up in landfill sites. This plastic can take as long as 1,000 years to decompose.
- Brush With Bamboo: a US brand that carries vegan bamboo toothbrushes, their bristles are made from 100% castor oil and are USDA certified bio-based.
- EcoRoots: bamboo toothbrush with soft recyclable nylon bristles
- Georganics: has beechwood toothbrushes with firm, medium, and soft nylon bristles.
- Hydro Phil: bamboo toothbrushes ranging from soft to medium bristles, which are based on castor oil.
- Life Without Plastic: toothbrush made with sustainably harvested beechwood and boar hair bristles (aka not vegan but 100% compostable).
- The Humble Co: is a Swedish brand that has a great charity program and carries bamboo toothbrushes from ultra-soft to medium bristles (nylon-6), they are dentist-approved and vegan.
- Wowe: bamboo toothbrushes with nylon, BPA-free, bristles.

Toothpaste and tablets
- Bite: vegan tooth tabs with no artificial flavoring, they are also fluoride-free, but rather uses nHAP, which is a calcium crystal that replenishes minerals that are lost in enamel.
- Dent tabs: can be found in a couple of different eco shops, they are packaged in paper bags and come versions both with and without fluoride.
- Georganics: carries both tooth tabs and mineral tooth powders, all of which are fluoride-free.
- Hydro Phil: toothpaste tabs both with and without fluoride, in a glass jar packaging, comes with natural flavors of either lemon mint, or sage.
- Unpaste: tooth tabs in both a version with and without fluoride, come in a cornstarch-based bag, which is compostable.

Mouthwash
- Bite: carries a mouthwash tablet that contains nHAP like their toothpaste and offers automatic postal refills
- Brushd: a dentist-approved mouthwash tablet, in a glass jar packaging with several flavor options
- By Humankind: vegan mouthwash tabs in several flavors with a silicone box and a glass container, alcohol-free and the packaging can be refilled once empty
