Hello everybody! I love making pancakes in the morning, and because I have done it so many times, I have perfected a recipe which is super effective and easy to use. I have talked about pancakes on my channel before, but hey, two times won’t hurt anyone, I bet.
VIDEO // watch me make pink pancakes here
What you will need:
1 cup of flour
½ a cup of oats
2 tbsps of cane sugar
½ a tbsp of baking powder
1-1,5 cup of plant milk (I used oatmilk)
½ a cup of frozen berries (I used raspberries)
1 tbsp of maple syrup
2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp of cardamom
1. Firstly, mix all your dry ingredients together, flour, baking powder, oats, and sugar.
2. Then add the maple syrup and the apple cider vinegar. Little by little add in the plant milk until the consistency of the batter is liquid – but not too runny, a good rule is that the batter is supposed to cover a finger without running off completely.
3. At this point add the berries.
4. When your batter is ready, heat a skillet, about medium heat is fine. I cook my pancakes in a bit of vegan butter – but you can cook them in any kind of fat-adjacent (or nothing if that is your thing, however, the result is better with a bit of vegan butter/oil). I cook my pancakes 1 minute of each side but cook them until they are golden brown and delicious.
What is the sauce that you topped them with?
It’s a quick homemade chocolate spread made with dark chocolate hazelnuts and vegan butter :)!
