Plastic Free School Supplies //w Monomeer

Hello everyone! I thought I would share a few tips on how to avoid plastic when purchasing school supplies. There are several options here, firstly I recommend you check out your local thrift store, I find tons of craft and school supplies that way. You can also target stores that specialise in plastic free alternatives, it is seriously heaven to browse those stores. I have mentioned Monomeer a lot in the past, because they have my favourite dental tabs, turns out they have a huge selection of office supplies, yay!

As my next semester is starting soon, it seems quite handy to have a few bits of school supplies. Especially the wooden stabler is something I am looking forward to. Many professors will not accept papers if they are not stabled, so in that case, this is pretty perfect! I take very few notes on actual paper, as I usually use my laptop, but the wooden ruler and pencil sharpener is primarily for my art supplies. I found my pencils second hand, but if you are less lucky, check out their plastic free pencil selection.

  1. These supplies are beautiful and so natural!

  2. Hello, not sure, whether you’ve heard of this, but there is this thing called eco stapler and it just connects the papers by cutting a small piece of each paper and braiding it together. It’s made out of plastic, but you don’t need to use any of that tiny metal staples.
