Hello everybody! I am not much of a baker. I hate following recipes and I often skip tons of steps that I think don’t matter. Spoiler alert, they often do. As a result, my baked goods often turn out less than perfect. So when I manage to create something that not only looks slightly more okay than my average cake and tastes amazing, you better believe I am going to share that recipe. As the title says, it’s like a chocolate chip cookie recipe, but bigger.

Preheat an oven at 180 degrees, Celsius. Mix oat milk, sugar, and oil in a bowl. Whisk until well combined. Add the vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt, whisk again. Add the flour little by little until the batter’s consistency recycles a thick, but runny, cake batter. I should not be as firm as cookie dough, but rather runny like chocolate cake batter. When the batter is at its desired consistency, add chocolate chips. Pour into an oven-proof tray and bake for 12-15 minutes. Let it cool off before cutting into it, it will be a bit runny in the middle when hot, but that will settle as a nice gooey middle when the cake cools off.
